Man discovers seal pup in his enclosure 10km far from the sea
IN a strange yet lovable disclosure a New Zealand man has discovered a seal pup in his enclosure, which is found 10km from the closest shoreline. Dee Knapp was strolling through his Southland enclosure checking for new sheep when he spotted something strange and caught the minute when he understood that it was child seal sitting among his cows and sheep. "What the heck, that is a child seal," he said as he gets nearer to the lost pup. In the wake of finding the little seal and seeing no indication of its mom, Knapp called the Department of Conservation (DOC) who exhorted him to leave the creature where it was and it would in the long run discover its way back to the water, as per New Zealand news outlet 1NewsNow.
